Title:Multidisciplinary Study of Right Ventricular Dysplasia (ARVD)
Purpose:This is a multidisciplinary, multicenter collaborative study to investigate the cardiac, clinical and genetic aspects of arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia (ARVD). The primary goal is to identify 100 patients with definite ARVD and their family members. The study offers a substantial prospect of expanding the fund of clinical knowledge regarding ARVD and/or localizing the genetic mutation(s) responsible for this disorder.

Study Number:11384
Number of Patients:100
Elgibility: The study is recruiting newly diagnosed patients who do not yet have an ICD/defibrillator or who had an ICD implanted within the last six months.
Treatment:Patients will be evaluated with standarized non-invasive and invasive tests to confirm the diagnosis. Family members of an affected individual will be asked to undergo non-invasive testing.
