Lactation Clinic

Oftentimes, new mothers need extra coaching and guidance to ensure that breastfeeding goes well. It is well worth the effort as breastfeeding provides considerable health benefits to both you and your baby.

Loyola offers clinical services for just those circumstances. Any nursing mother requiring an assessment of her breastfeeding feeding style or assistance with problem solving can be seen by a lactation consultant in our lactation clinic.

Location
We are located in the Pediatric Clinic in the Maywood Loyola Outpatient Center.

Appointments
Appointments are required; they are available Monday through Friday from noon to 1 p.m. Call: 888-LUHS-888 and ask for the Birth Center.

Fees
There is a fee, but it may be covered by your insurance.
