Cesarean birth and vaginal birth

Whether you already know you will be having a cesarean section delivery or have had a cesarean section and will be attempting to deliver vaginally with this pregnancy, this class will help both you and your partner prepare.

This two-hour class covers:

  • Conditions that often lead to a cesarean section delivery
  • Emotional and physical preparation for surgery
  • Cesarean section surgical procedure
  • Caring for yourself after surgery

You and your partner will see the vaginal and cesarean birth films with participants in the childbirth preparation class.

Recommended during the last trimester of pregnancy. One, two-hour session.

Cost: $10 per couple
