How to Refer a Patient

At Loyola, your patient will receive expert medical care but always with physicians who also treat the human spirit. Whether your patients require treatment for a highly technical problem, arthritis pain or a broken bone, the physicians at Loyola always offer their expertise, knowledge of the latest techniques, and a sensitive and caring attitude.

You will be part of a coordinated effort among highly skilled physicians, nurses and therapists to achieve the best possible outcome for your patient.

Loyola's Referring Provider Call Center provides access to a Loyola specialist 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Our associates are trained to:

  • Make an appointment for your patient
  • Page a specific physician with whom you wish to speak
  • Find a physician in a subspecialty to assist you
  • Ensure transferred calls reach a live person by staying on the line to assist you

If you would like to discuss a case with any of our orthopaedic specialists, podiatrists or physiatrists, please call (877) MDs-LUHS (637-5847).
