Neurobehavioral Program

The Neurobehavioral Program is organized under the direction of Loyola University Health System's (Loyola) Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences. Individuals who have any disorder or injury to the brain with resulting memory, behavioral or mood problems can be evaluated and treated. Disorders that often have these associated problems include (but are not limited to) traumatic brain injury, stroke, dementia, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, dementia, and Huntington's or Parkinson's diseases.

These patients often have unattended problems of memory and thinking, attention deficits, aggression, anxiety, depression, other mood changes and chronic pain. Through interview and examination, we can pinpoint the psychiatric and neuropsychological problems. We work with the family, employer and other services at Loyola, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, cognitive neurosciences, neurology, neurosurgery, speech pathology and vocational rehabilitation.
