Center for Cranial Base Surgery

The Center for Cranial Base Surgery utilizes the skills of multiple, highly specialized surgeons in the removal of extensive tumors of the head, neck and brain. This multidisciplinary approach allows the safe and complete removal of basicranial tumors and lesions that might otherwise have been considered inoperable.

The goal of the center is to synthesize contemporary diagnostic methods, surgical techniques and therapeutic modalities in order to achieve the highest standard of patient care. These include state-of-the-art neuroradiology, intra-operative microscopic and laser techniques and a fully equipped speech and swallowing laboratory.

The referring physician is encouraged to become fully involved in planning the patient's treatment and follow-up care. The patient returns to the referring physician following complete recovery and rehabilitation.
