Physical Therapy
Continuum of Care

The Physical Therapy Department provides evaluations, rehabilitation and treatment for a variety of acute and chronic dysfunctions for inpatients and outpatients of all ages. Our goal is to educate patients and assist them in achieving an optimal level of independence and function, and to promote their health and rehabilitation. 

Services Include:

  • Range of Motion 
  • Strengthening 
  • Conditioning and endurance activities 
  • Patient and family education 
  • Gait analysis and training 
  • Prosthetic training 
  • Wound care management 
  • Balance and coordination training 
  • Facilitation of normal movement 
  • Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation 
  • Pain management 
  • Neuromuscular re-education 

Special to Pediatrics Patients:

  • Facilitation of normal movement/gross motor skills 
  • ROM and strengthening 
  • Coordination and balance training Gait analysis and training 
  • Wheelchair fittings 
  • Assistive device evaluations and training 
  • Fabrication of foot orthotics 
  • Inhibitive/serial casting 
  • Measuring and fitting of lower body compression garments
