Becoming a Patient

Before your first visit to the Gastrointestinal Oncology Center, you will be encouraged to submit your pathology slides and all radiology studies, so that a comprehensive treatment plan can be developed during the initial appointment. Our certified nurse coordinator, in conjunction with the physicians, reviews all patient records prior to the visit.

Your first visit will include consultation from specialists such as medical oncologists, surgeons, surgical oncologists and radiation oncologists. Treatment plans and options will be formulated by the team and presented to you and your family during the same visit.

If you would like to make an appointment or need assistance to find an appropriate physician, please call us at (888) LUHS-888.
