Pediatric Hematology Clinic
Special Clinics

The Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology provides consultation, diagnosis and treatment for
patients with conditions such as: 

  • Hemolytic and bone marrow failure disorders
  • Coagulation disorders 
  • Thrombocytopenia 
  • Platelet function disorders 

Special Interests

  • Coagulation disorders in the newborn through its hemostasis research laboratory. 

Major Research
Through its membership in the Children's Cancer Study Group, the section assists in the diagnosis
and management of a wide spectrum of malignant diseases in children such as: 

  • leukemia 
  • lymphoma 
  • brain tumors 
  • Wilms' tumor 
  • bone malignancies
