Long-Term Discharge
Bone Marrow Transplantation

Your progress requires careful medical monitoring after hospital discharge. Autologous transplant patients are required to reside within one hour's drive of the hospital for approximately 30 days after discharge. Allogeneic transplant patients must remain within one hour's drive of the hospital for 100 days to 120 days after transplant. Apartments and hotels with kitchenettes are available for out-of-town patients and their families. The medical center does not provide any on-campus housing.
