The 125,000 square
foot Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center, opened
in September 1994, was the first free-standing
facility in Illinois dedicated to cancer research,
diagnosis, treatment and prevention. With researchers
and clinicians in one location, the center promotes
an open exchange of ideas and collaboration
to transform what is learned through research
into more effective treatment methods. |
The latest in cancer care
is provided by Loyola physicians, many of whom are nationally
recognized. Chemotherapy, radiology and laboratory services
are available on-site. Physician specialties include

Skin
Cancer and Gynecologic, Pediatric,
Radiation,
, Surgical and Urologic
Oncology. Multidisciplinary clinics include the Breast
Care Center, the Gastrointestinal
Oncology Center the Thoracic
Oncology Center, Melanoma
Clinic, Neuro-Oncology
Clinic, Radiosurgery Clinic, and the Head
and Neck Clinic.
