Becoming A Patient: The Ronald McDonald® House Near Loyola

The Ronald McDonald House Near Loyola provides a home away from home for families of children undergoing treatment for serious illnesses on an in-patient or out-patient basis.

This gorgeous 39,000 square foot mansion has been furnished and decorated based on the theme of the Secret Garden book, written, by Frances Hodgson Burnett. This welcoming and healing environment can accommodate up to 18 families every night and provides:

  • Private bedrooms
  • Bathroom shared by only one other bedroom
  • Laundry facilities
  • A kitchen to be shared by all
  • Lots of open spaces
  • Free Parking
  • 24-hour free shuttle service to campus

This facility is the only Ronald McDonald House in the Chicagoland area built specifically for its purpose. A $5/night donation is appreciated.
