& Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Medicine Services
Oral
and maxillofacial surgeons provide consultation for
and treatment of oral, facial and upper jaw trauma,
diseases or abnormalities of growth and development;
malocclusion; temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders
and facial pain. Treatments include reconstructive surgery;
dental and facial implants; bone grafting; extraction
and surgical removal of teeth; orthognathic (jaw) surgery
for the correction of congenital, developmental and
acquired oral and maxillofacial deformities; orthodontics
for correction of malocclusion; and oral appliance treatment
of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.
The
Loyola University Health System (Loyola) Oral
Health Center provides all dental services, including
general dentistry for adults and children, dental hygiene,
oral surgery and cosmetic teeth whitening.

Deformities Clinic
This clinic specializes in the surgical treatment of
facial deformities present at birth or resulting from
disease or injury.

Center
Dental and facial implants are available for individuals
who have lost teeth.

Experts in oral and maxillofacial reconstruction treat
patients after trauma or tumor removal.
