Genetics Services
Pediatric
geneticists provide diagnostic and management services
to patients with confirmed or suspected genetic disorders,
as well as genetic counseling. Services focus on birth
defects, mental retardation, inborn errors of metabolism
and genetic disorders of growth or development.

Down
Syndrome Clinic
A clinic for children with Down syndrome is held monthly.
Both medical and developmental issues are addressed
during the clinic visit.
Marfan
Syndrome Clinic
This is an integrated program for the diagnosis and
treatment of Marfan syndrome. Diagnosis of Marfan syndrome
is coordinated at a genetic evaluation. Patients will
receive care from a cardiologist as well as specialists
in ophthalmology and orthopaedics for their various
health-care needs.
