For Physicians - How
to Refer a Patient
Kidney Transplantation
We regard referring physicians
as key to the success of every patient’s treatment.
Once the patient has received treatment at Loyola University
Health System (Loyola), we ensure a smooth transition
back to the care of the referring physician. We believe
our close partnership with referring physicians means
better and more convenient treatment for patients.
Referrals should be called
in to the Kidney Transplant Office (708) 216-3454. A
pre-transplant Coordinator will take basic information,
schedule the appointment for the Intake Clinic, and
explain the procedure to the candidate.
