Intra-Abdominal Transplant Surgery Services

Loyola University Health System (Loyola) is nationally recognized for its specialty care and research in organ transplantation. In the intra-abdominal transplantation program, a highly specialized medical and surgical team provides comprehensive care for transplantation of the liver, kidney or pancreas. The establishment of this program reflects major progress made in the last decade in the management of these often complicated conditions and in patient survival. Goals of this program are to provide optimal patient care and further the understanding of transplantation through education and research. Support groups also are available for patients and families.
