Nutrition Unit
The
multidisciplinary unit provides a comprehensive team approach
to the treatment of nutrition-related diseases in both
inpatient and outpatient settings. The team provides nutrition
services throughout the hospital, giving specialized care
to a variety of patients, particularly those requiring
parenteral and enteral feeding.
Clinics dedicated to the nutritional needs of patients
are held each week. Services include nutritional evaluation,
indirect caloriemetry, measurement of body composition
and nutrition education.
The clinic specializes in:
- Obesity
- Post bypass
and banding follow-up
- Eating
disorders
- Other
nutritional deficiencies
