myLoyola Celebrates First Anniversary

Last December, Loyola University Health System unveiled myLoyola, a personalized web site that tailors health-care information to each user. Once a user has registered, he can select medical interests. Then, information about those specific areas of interest is displayed. In addition, the site features a medical organizer, which offers appointment reminders, medical events record keeping, an address book and health screening updates.

Other features include daily health-care related news from Reuters and information about upcoming events, clinical trials and Loyola physicians and services. In addition, each user has an e-mail inbox that provides a secure means of communication between users and Loyola.
