Recommended Practice Guidelines
The Illinois EMSC program has developed and collected a number of guidelines related to pediatric emergency and critical care. These guidelines have been reviewed and approved by our Advisory Board and address education/training, quality improvement, treatment/management protocols, standards of care and equipment recommendations. Healthcare professionals providing care to children are encouraged to seek incorporation of these guidelines into their practice as appropriate.
