JumpSTART is a pediatric triage process that is utilized during a mass casualty event. In an effort to educate prehospital personnel, first responders and other healthcare professionals about JumpSTART, Illinois EMSC is utilizing grant funds to sponsor JumpSTART train-the-trainer sessions throughout the state. Individuals who have participated in the train-the-trainer sessions then conduct JumpSTART trainings for additional personnel in their organization or community.
