Social Work Department is committed to:
Integrating the mission
of Loyola University Medical Center into the care of the patient,
families of the social work department
Creating an environment
of trust, hope, acceptance and hospitality through care, concern,
respect and cooperation in serving all patients and their families.
Providing diagnostic assessment,
Individual counseling, therapy, and referrals to assist patients and
their families in coping more effectively with their biopsychosocial
situations and facilitate a continuum of care.
Encouragement of preventative health
by integrating education into the care of all patients and their
families.
Providing a competent and caring staff
Through holistic education that focuses on the social and
psychological needs.
