Group Fitness Class Descriptions

Aquatic Programs

Aqua Express
-30 minutes of water exercise dedicated to cardiovascular conditioning.  All fitness levels welcome.
H2O Bootcamp-
Reap the benefits of a water workout in this athletic cardio and strength training class.  All fitness levels are welcome.
Splash-
Use the resistance of the water to improve cardiovascular stamina and muscular endurance.  All fitness levels welcome.
Waves-
It's time to make some WAVES! Virtually impact free, this class is perfect for anyone looking for a complete conditioning experience without too much stress on the body.

Cardiovascular & Resistance Programs

Ab Blast-
Whether you are looking for six-pack abs or a stronger core, this 25 minute class is for you. 
Ball Works-
Strengthen your entire body by using hand weights and your body weight while challenging your core on the stability ball.  All fitness levels welcome.
Cardio Box-
A non-contact cardiovascular workout that incorporates kicks, punches, and drills that are sure to get your heart rate up! Perfect for those looking for a more intense workout.
Cardio Bootcamp-
Cardio Bootcamp utilizes drills, intervals, and strength training for this higher intensity class.
Cardio Mix-
Mix up your cardio workout with intervals of strength training and cardiovascular conditioning.  No previous experience is necessary.
Circuit Fitness-
Get a strength training & cardiovascular workout in only 45 minutes.   Beginner, intermediate and advanced workouts are provided.  This class meets in the upstairs small circuit area. 
Cycle Craze-
This 90-minute spin class focuses on intervals, strength and endurance.  This is a great ride for riders with previous experience. 
Fit For Life-
This class will combine cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility training to provide a complete workout for any age or ability!
Group Power-Your Hour of Power!  This 60-minute barbell program is for men and women of all ages and abilities.
Low Impact-Low impact does not mean low intensity!  You will break a sweat in this gentle to your joints workout. 
Stretch & Stability-This class is for individuals looking to increase core strength, stability, balance and flexibility.
Spinning-This 45-minute class provides music and coaching that begs your legs to pedal through a varied terrain. 
Step-A low impact, high-energy class utilizing a step platform.  All levels welcome.
Step Express-The same great workout as step but 25-minutes long-perfect for your lunch hour.
Total Body Conditioning-Just like the name states-this workout is for your entire body.  Resistance bands, bars, hand weights and more will be used to provide a total body workout for any fitness level.
Turbo Kick-In this kickboxing class, you'll kick, punch, and groove the calories away in this action-packed, super safe and effective cardiovascular workout.

Yoga Programs

Beginner Yoga-
An introductory level yoga class designed to teach basic yoga poses, decrease stress and increase flexibility.
Beginner/Intermediate Yoga-T
his multi-level class will focus on breathing, form, and relaxation.
Energy Yoga-
Enjoy the benefits of yoga in this all levels welcome class.   Experience calming breath control, chakra clearings and the energizing benefits of yoga.
Gentle Yoga-
A yoga class designed for seniors and other participants with special needs.  Previous yoga experience is not necessary.
Hatha Yoga-
A traditional yoga class incorporating poses, breath work, meditation, and relaxation to benefit the mind, body and spirit.  All levels are welcome.
Integral Yoga-
Reconnect with the key elements of your yoga practice.  Students will be guided through controlled breathing, yoga postures, meditation and relaxation.
Intermediate Yoga-
The yoga styles used in this yoga class are a combination of Ashtanga Yoga (when breath and flowing movements are in sync) and Iyengar Yoga (in which proper alignment and pose endurance are key to the practice).  Some yoga experience is recommended, however, all levels are welcome to participate.
Vinyasa Yoga-Vinyasa yoga is a style of flowing yoga characterized by connecting one pose to the next using rhythmic, efficient, and fluid transitions.  Previous yoga experience is recommended.

The Center also offers the following classes for an additional fee:

Aikido, Tai Chi, Mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates, Ballroom, Latin, & Swing Dance.
