Beginners in need of help getting started? Or are you bored with your current program and just need some new ideas? A Personal Fitness Orientation (PFO) is a 30-minute session designed to answer any fitness related questions from the beginner to advanced exercise participant.
- Will provide member with various ideas to an exercise routine
- Members can have unlimited number of PFO's during membership to keep their program fresh
- PFO's are not personal training sessions; therefore you will not get a workout from the session. It is designed as a teaching and informational tool.

Focus on Fitness
Do you have a history of starting an exercise program then losing interest only to have to start all over again? Focus on Fitness is intended to assist in keeping you motivated and accountable for your time at the center.
- Member will determine level of Fitness Specialist assistance. Varying from periodically checking your workout card to calling you at home.
- A Fitness Specialist will be assigned to you and tracking your progress however you determine will be most effective for you.
- Once a request form is completed a Fitness Specialist will be assigned to you and will get in touch with you.

Personal Fitness Profile & Consultation
Interested in having your baseline measurements done? Personal Fitness Profile & Consultation (PFPC) is a two-session appointment in which you will have all baseline measurements completed during your first session and results and a new exercise program given to you during the second.
- This service is free to new members requesting one during the first 30 days of their membership.
- You will meet on two separate occasions with a Fitness Specialist
- During your first meeting you will have the following completed:
- Height and weight
- Body Composition
- Circumference measurements
- Resting and exercise heart rate and blood pressure
- Sub-maximal bike test
- Muscular strength
- Muscular endurance
- Flexibility
- Your goals will be discussed during this first session to determine the best path most appropriate for your needs.
- During your second meeting you will go over all results and receive your computer generated results.
- The Fitness Specialist will have an exercise program designed for you. This program will be set up to meet your specific goals and will keep in mind the results of your completed test.
- Should you choose this route for you, you will be asked to complete and submit a Health History Questionnaire (HHQ) ahead.
- A pre-test informational packet will also need to be completed which you will bring to your first appointment.
- Once we receive your HHQ a Fitness Specialist will look over the form to determine whether or not we will need to get medical clearance from your physician. If so, our staff will fax a form to your specified doctor and then get in touch with you to schedule once this is received.

- Optional 3rd session: For a $30 fee, priced much lower than a one hour personal training session, members can receive a one hour training session. The appointment which must be scheduled within 30 days of your consult will be with your original fitness instructor. During this appointment you will go through an entire workout using the program that was designed for you at your consultation. Appointments can be made with a fitness specialist.
Baseline measurements for non-members, members for longer than 30 days or if you are interested in being re-evaluated.
A PFPC is available for a fee to:
- Any member who has previously been tested and would like to be re-evaluated - $25 charge
- Members who have been members for longer than 30 days and have never requested a PFPC - $50
- Non-members - $60
Terrified of Water
Do you have a fear of water but want to be comfortable in the water? Terrified of Water (TOW) is a program to make people comfortable with the water.
- Designed for those who don't feel they are ready for swim lessons
- Appropriate for someone with a lifetime fear of water or someone who has had bad experiences.
- Session lasts 30-minutes and members may have two sessions during their membership.
