EMS Data Reporting System

The EMS Data Reporting System is an internet-based query system that is accessible online through the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) website.  This interactive data system supports querying of five statewide databases and provides health related descriptive information at the state, EMS regional and county level.  Limited data elements from the following databases can be accessed through this system:

Comparison of Asthma Inpatient Admits for 5-14 y/o Residing in Peoria and Champaign Counties 2000-2001

(Peoria and Champaign counties have similar pediatric populations)

*  IDPH Mortality Data (1994-1998)

   IDPH Prehospital Run Report Database (1996-2002)

*   IDPH Trauma Registry Database (1994-2002)

*   Illinois Dept of Transportation (IDOT) Traffic Crash Report (1994-2002)

        *   Illinois Hospital Association (IHHA) Hospital Discharge Database (1994-2002)

Utilization of this system can support local illness, injury, hospitalization trending and lend to surveillance and quality improvement efforts.  The following URL provides direct access to the system.
