A Software Application for Tracking
ED Staff Continuing Education
CE Tracker is a Windows-based application that was developed by
Illinois EMSC to assist hospitals in tracking credentials and continuing
education for physicians, nurses and mid-level practitioners. It can assist in
tracking pediatric hours as part of your requirements for the facility
recognition program. This application can also assist with tracking of trauma
hours if your facility is a trauma center, as well as tracking of credentials
and continuing education for other internal/external requirements that your
facility may have.
In addition
to installation files, the downloadable Zip file contains two documents:
-
User Guide
– this document provides an overview including installation instructions and
a quick introduction to application features (as a quick overview, click
here
(to review this document

).
-
Tutorial –
this document provides a more thorough introduction to the application
features using fictitious data (the tutorial takes approximately 30 minutes
to complete).
Recommended
steps:
-
Click on the link at the right and download the file to your
PC.
-

-
Following the installation instructions detailed in the
User Guide, install the program on a single PC (the Setup file will
appear in the new folder rather than on a CD).
-
(Optional) Review and use the Tutorial. (Note: We
anticipate that most users will skip this step, but the Tutorial can
help users who are not as comfortable with data entry and reporting.)
