LUHS volunteers share in a common quest to reach out and help others, performing services and providing amenities that otherwise might not be available to patients and their families. You are asked to commit to a minimum of 104 hours (adult) or 60 hours (junior, minimum age 16) per year in your volunteer assignment(s). Volunteer services are performed throughout the day during morning, afternoon and evening shifts, generally Monday through Friday. Volunteers bring unique skills, knowledge and experiences to assist patients and staff. We provide training, supervision and the opportunity to commit to the well being of others. Please call us at 708-216-3794 to schedule your personal interview.
